Your data rights

Last updated: 6 November 2026
You can contact Haddon Family Ltd about your personal information at hi@haddon.family. This page explains your rights under the UK GDPR and how to make a request.

Access and correction

You can ask whether we process your personal information, request a copy and ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information. You can also edit account and wishlist details using the service.

Deletion and restriction

You can request erasure where the right applies, or ask us to restrict processing in the circumstances set out in law. Eligible signed-in accounts can use Delete account in account management to remove their account and wishlists from the live service. Some records may need separate handling for legal, security, audit or backup purposes; we will explain any applicable exception.

Portability, objection and consent

Where the legal conditions are met, you can request information you provided in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format and ask us to transmit it to another controller where technically feasible.
You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal. The essential-cookie notice does not give us marketing or analytics consent.

Making a request

Email hi@haddon.family with what you would like us to do. Use the email linked to your account if you have one. For a guest gift, explain which wishlist or gift and approximately when you used it so we can identify the relevant records. Please do not send passwords, share passwords, sign-in tokens or password-reset codes.
We may ask for proportionate information to verify identity and protect other people's information. Do not send identity documents unless we ask for them. We will not disclose another giver's or account holder's information just because someone knows a name or wishlist link.

Response times and charges

We usually respond within one month under the applicable UK rules. Where the law permits more time, for example for a complex request, we will explain any extension; this may be up to two further months. Identity checks or clarification can affect the applicable deadline where the law allows.
Requests are normally free. If an exception allows us to refuse a request or charge a reasonable fee, we will explain the reason and your options rather than treating every right as unconditional.

Concerns and complaints

Please contact hi@haddon.family so we can try to resolve your concern. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK data-protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. You do not have to give up that right by using EllieWish.
The controller is Haddon Family Ltd, registered limited company number 16993428.
